Many people’s lives are devastated by cancer each year and it is important that we continue to raise as much money as possible. It is the worlds leading charity dedicated to beating cancer.
The results that the charity has produced have saved millions of lives by discovering new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. Research has been at the heart of the progress that has seen survival rates for cancer double in the last 30 years.
For those that are not aware the government does not fund this charity so it is vital that the public continues fundraising to ensure the best possible outcome for the charity.
They also offer a wide range of volunteer work, the people that help come from all walks of life and contribute to the charity in a number of ways.
Our local office here in Penrith work hard to make people aware and this charity is something that the hotel really believes in and we look forward to raising lots of money for them throughout 2010.
