What kind of equipment is in the exercise area?
The aerobic equipment is life fitness - the foremost supplier of equipment in the world - and cybex resistance stations.

How do I know I will be able to use the equipment when I want to?
The usage of the Spa will be carefully monitored and a limited number of new members join each month. As well as usage at comfortable levels this will ensure all members receive a personal service - you will have lots of questions when you first join.
Can children use the spa facilities?
Yes, we welcome children. There is an adult only swim time, Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 10:00 am (excluding Bank Holidays).
How big is the pool?
The pool dimensions are: 13m x 9m, maximum depth 2m.
What exercise classes are available?
There are two state of the art group fitness studios with a range of exercise classes on offer in the Spa for all ages and fitness levels.

What facilities are in the changing areas?
- Large showers with complimentary toiletries
- Large lockers operated via a £1 coin deposit
- Private change area in the ladies
- Powerful hairdryers

What relaxation areas are there?
The spacious relaxation room means that you maximise the benefit of your treatment and prolong the 'post-treatment' bliss.
Sauna
Separate male and female saunas are situated in the changing areas.
Steam Room
A mixed facility available on the poolside.
Time on your hands!
Use the loungers on the spacious poolside, if the Cumbrian weather is suitable, you can even move outside and relax with a drink on our comfortably furnished patio.
Trekkers room
Space for the children to enjoy, with a Nintendo Wii computer and TV's, air hockey, pool table and 2 playstations.
Do I need to change in my room?
It's your call. The Spa has plenty of lockers for you to use, or you can change in your room and wander down in the bathrobe you'll find in your guest room. But please do wear appropriate footwear for your visit.
Do I need to take my towel?
No, the Spa has complimentary towels for you to use during your visit.
